San Francisco

Arrived in San Francisco on the 20th and found out the hard way it is difficult to spend 36 hours in only 24.

On Tuesday 22nd May I hired a bike and cycled the 8 miles to Sausilito the pictures are on the following page.

On Wednesday I took the ferry to Alcatraz Island, a penal colony until March 1963.

On my last day I decided totake the cable car from Californian Street down to China Town for breakfast then take the cable car to Fishermans wharf to buy some pressies. I then walked to Coit Tower and finally walked back to my hotel to pack. I took some pictures on the way. (by the way their are a lot of miles and a few hills back to the hotel).
