Back to Vancouver
Today started fine and then got worse sun, rain and snow all in the same day.
I walked 40 blocks down to the Seabus jetty and sat in Starbucks waiting for Simon & Theresa to arrive.

Lonsdale Pier at the bottom of Lonsdale Avenue (41 blocks, I know I walked 'em all) is the landing point for the Seabus, a 15 minute ride across to downtown Vancouver and below is the shopping mall attached to the Pier.

We also went for a drive thru Stanley Park scene of some major devastation during the Dec 15th Storm. Over 1000 trees blown down. The 1st picture is the little mermaid across to the North Vancouver shoreline. The 2nd is the Lionsgate bridge and the 3rd is the glorious sunset across the Lost Lagoon.

The last 2 pictures are the booking Hall for the Trans-Canadian Railway which is now also the Vancouver stop for the Seabus. It was built in Victorian times hence the beautiful reliefs around the ceiling line, and guess what another Starbucks.
onto Saturday
