Back to Vancouver
Today we decided on a ferry ride to Vancouver Island to see the State Capital Victoria, however due to high winds in the Strait we had a slow ride across, 2 hours instead of 1hr and 15 mins which left only a short time exploring as its a 80 Km drive from Nanaimo to Victoria. It was bright and sunny most of the day and you can see evidence of the damage caused by the recent storm all over. Some parts of Vancouver Island had no power for a week.
